Back in Austin

So I decided to take some vacation time off work and come to Austin to visit my family. The flight from Detroit to Austin was a nightmare and one of my bags never showed up until early Sunday morning (I arrived late Friday evening). The hassle to get here was worth every minute of it. I love Austin! The area is so beautiful and everyone is extremely nice and friendly. Plus you can't beat the weather. Back in Pittsburgh it is raining and highs are in the 50s. I have been taking every chance I get to be outside and enjoy the warm weather and sun because I know once I go back home I won't see sun or warmth until June. Went for a run the other morning. Hadn't run since I left for my trip and I really needed to get out on the road and relieve some pent up energy. Feels like I'm out in the middle of nowhere, so I ran down the street in my aunt's development, took a left and ran 15 minutes down the road and 15 minutes back so I wouldn't get lost. Saw some deer and one of them tried to follow me, but got bored and darted off. The run was great and watching the sun come up made it even better. There were a few hills but nothing too difficult for me. Weight training today and perhaps a longer run tomorrow. Going to relax and enjoy my time here.
