PhD candidate at UT studying terrestrial community ecology of fungi. I'm also a nice person (at least I think so) who sometimes talks a lot.

Other than doing what I love most, my research, I also enjoy sewing, cooking, and attempting to take nature photographs. I do love hiking & camping too (who doesn't). I don't like 'long walks on the beach' because I prefer to be in the waves :)
Family, my black cat, lap swimming, the color pea green, smell of swampy florida and orange blossoms, and Cape Cod in the summer.
Cape Cod in the winter, color maroon & dusty rose, mean people, and running injuries.
Running buddies (~6:45 - 7:30/mile). don't carry a watch, nor a planned run ever, due to the fact that most of my life was timed runs, but I typically run sub-7's and about 5-7 miles. Any information on running with others would be welcomed info.
